Replying with a message for incoming calls in
the RingCentral mobile app

The RingCentral app allows you to reply to incoming calls with a message when you cannot answer the call. You can choose to reply with a predefined or a custom text-to-speech message to the caller.

  1. When you receive a call, tap Reply with voice message.

  1. Choose from the predefined responses or tap Custom message….You will have approximately 60 seconds to choose or type your Custom message. A countdown timer is shown above the list of pre-defined messages. When the time is up and no action message is sent, your caller will be routed to your voicemail.
Replying to a call with a message
Your message will be sent to the caller as a text-to-speech message. Your callers will have the following options after hearing your reply message: 
  • Press 1: Repeat the message.
  • Press 2: Leave a voicemail.
  • Press 3: Reply with a "Yes.”
  • Press 4: Reply with a "No.”
  • Press 5: Reply with "Urgent, Please call immediately.”
  • Press 6: Disconnect.
