Group Call Pickup lets coworkers in the same group answer each other's incoming calls from the Heads-up display (HUD) in the <var class="keyword">
<div style="display: inline;">
RingCentral
</div></var> app.

Before using Group Call Pickup:

* Your admin needs to add you to a pickup group in the [Admin Portal](https://service.ringcentral.com "").
* Make sure your [HUD is turned on](https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Managing-your-HUD-extensions-in-the-RingCentral-app.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US "").

Using the HUD for Group Call Pickup in the desktop and web app
--------------------------------------------------------------

When a call rings on another group member's phone, you can answer it from the HUD in the desktop and web app. Call pickup groups are set up with a delay time (no delay to one minute) before group members are notified of ringing calls.

* In the navigation bar, click **Phone**.
* Click the **HUD** tab in the right panel.
* Your assigned groups will appear in the **Group call pick up** dropdown. Click the **Pick up call** icon to answer incoming calls for group members.

Note  
Details about the incoming call and the intended recipient appear under the group's name. If you've set your presence settings to ring your phone when a monitored user receives a call, you'll also be notified of that incoming call.

Turning on selective ringing
----------------------------

The selective ringing feature lets you turn on ringing for some, but not all, Group Call Pickup groups.

Note  
The selective ringing option appears only if you're a member of multiple groups that receive incoming calls.

* In the navigation bar, click **Phone**.
* Click the **HUD** tab in the right panel.
* Click the **Selective ringing** bell icon at the top right.

* Click the toggles to select the Group Call Pickup groups you want to receive call notifications from.
