Editing your profile in the <var class="keyword">

You can edit your profile picture, name, title, department, location, and webpage in the RingCentral app. Your changes will apply across the RingCentral apps on your desktop, web, and mobile apps, and in the [Admin Portal](https://service.ringcentral.com/ "").

**Note**  
The profile information you can edit depends on permissions set by your company admin.

Where do you want to edit your profile?

## Desktop & web

Editing your profile picture in the desktop \& web app
------------------------------------------------------

* Click your profile picture at the top left.
* Click the **View profile** link.
* Hover over your profile picture, then click the **Edit** pencil icon that appears at the bottom of the circle.

* Select an image from your computer to upload, then click **Open**.
* Use the **Zoom** slider to adjust your image.
* Click **Done**.

Editing your profile information in the desktop \& web app
----------------------------------------------------------

Depending on the permissions set by your company admin, this option may not be available.

* Click your profile picture at the top left.
* Click the **View profile** link.

* Click the **Edit** pencil icon at the top right of the profile window.

* Make any necessary changes to your profile. Type into the fields to edit your **First name** , **Last name** , **Title** , **Department** , **Location** , or **Webpage**. You can also change your profile picture here.
* Click **Save** .

## Mobile

Editing your profile in the Android mobile app
----------------------------------------------

### Editing your profile picture

* Tap your profile picture at the top left.
* Tap your profile picture again, then tap the pencil icon for the following options:
  * **View profile picture**: Tap to view your current profile picture if you have uploaded one previously.
  * **Take new profile picture** : Tap to take a new profile picture using your phone's camera.
    * After taking the picture, tap **Ok** or **Retry**.
    * Tap and drag, or pinch, to adjust your picture. When you're finished, tap the check mark at the top right.

  * **Select profile picture** : Tap to select a profile picture from your photo library.
    * After selecting a picture, tap and drag, or pinch, to adjust it. When you're finished, tap the check mark at the top right.
    * If you want to select a different picture, tap the close (x) button. This will take you back to your profile, where you can tap the pencil icon to repeat the above steps.

* Type into the fields to edit your **First name** , **Last name** ,**Job title** , or **Department**.
* Tap the check mark at the top right to save your changes.

------------------------------------------

### Editing your profile picture

* Tap your profile picture at the top left.
* Tap your profile picture again, then tap the **Edit** pencil icon for the following options:
  * **View profile picture**: Tap to view your current profile picture if you have uploaded one previously.
  * **Take new profile picture** : Tap to take a new profile picture using your phone's camera.
    * After taking the picture, tap **Use photo** to accept it or **Retake** to take a new picture.
    * Tap and drag, or pinch, to adjust your picture. When you're finished, tap **Save** at the bottom right.

  * **Select profile picture** : Tap to select a profile picture from your photo library.
    * After selecting a picture, tap and drag, or pinch, to adjust it. When you're finished, tap **Save** at the bottom right.
    * If you want to select a different picture, tap **Cancel** to return to your photo library.
