To hear a tone when participants join and leave your

Video meeting, you can turn on entry and exit tones.

## Desktop & web
Turning on tones before a meeting
---------------------------------
* Go to **Settings** in the navigation bar.
* Click the **Video** tab.
* Click the **Edit** button at the far right of **Video meeting settings** .
* Click the **Entry \& exit tones** toggle to turn on entry and exit tones.
* Click either *On entry and exit* or *On entry only* .
Other entry and exit tone settings include:
* **For new participants only**: Turn on entry tone when new participants join the meeting.
* **Suppress tones after 10 participants**: Automatically stop entry tones after 10 participants have joined the meeting.
Turning on tones during a meeting

* During a meeting, click on the three-dot **More** icon at the bottom right corner.
* Select **Settings**.
* Under *General* , click the **Entry \& exit tones** toggle to turn on entry and exit tones.
* Click either *On entry and exit* or *On entry only* .

* Tap the three-dot **More** icon at the top right.
* Tap **Video meeting settings** .
* Tap **Entry and exit tones** .
* Tap the**Play tones** toggle to turn on entry and exit tones.
* Tap either *On entry and exit* or *On entry only* .
Other entry and exit tone settings include:
* **For new participants only** : Tap the **Play tones** toggle to turn on play tones when new participants join the meeting.
* **Suppress tones after 10 participants**: Tap the toggle to automatically stop play tones after 10 participants join the meeting.
* **When my connection is broken or restored**: Tap the toggle to get a notification tone when your internet connection stops and when it's restored.
