Using Presentation modes in RingCentral Video

Some RingCentral Video features and meeting controls may appear differently depending on your account. RingCentral Presentation modes
------------------------------

**Overlay**: Shows your video in front of your presentation.

**Glassboard**: Makes you appear "behind" your presentation by making your video transparent.

**Newsroom**: Keeps you to the side and your presentation next to you, as on a TV newscast.

**Conference room**: Makes you appear to be seated in an actual conference room with your presentation projected behind you.

### Accessing Presentation modes

* If you're in a meeting, click the **More** button on the bottom right of your screen. If you're outside a meeting, go to Video meeting settings in your app.
* Select **Presentation mode**.

## Overlay

* Click **Overlay** .

* Drag the blue rectangle on the preview screen to resize or move your video.
* Click and drag the slider to adjust the transparency of your video.
* Click the **Green** or **Blue** button if you have[a green or blue screen](https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Using-a-green-screen-with-RingCentral-Video-Virtual-Background-and-Presentation-Modes.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US "").
* Close the **Settings** window.
* Click the **Share** button and select a screen to share.
* Click **Share**.

-----------------

* Before your meeting, practice using your selected Presentation mode. You can change the position of your video in video settings to make sure it looks its best.
* Be mindful of your hands. Keep them visible inside the video frame when you use them to explain something.
* Consider using a green or blue screen for a clean background. ## Glassboard

* Click **Glassboard**.
* Drag the blue rectangle on the preview screen to resize or move your video.
* Select the primary background color of your presentation.
  * Choose **Auto** if your presentation is multicolored.
  * Choose **White** if your presentation is mostly light-colored.
  * Choose **Black** if your presentation is mostly dark-colored.

* Select **Left** or **Right** to choose the position of your video.
