During a video meeting, you can use reactions to send emojis, raise your hand, and indicate that you'll be right back.

Where do you want to use reactions?

## Desktop & web

Using reactions during a meeting in the desktop and web app
-----------------------------------------------------------

To use reactions during a video meeting in the desktop and web app:

* Click **React** in the bottom toolbar.
* Choose your reaction:
  * Select one of the default emojis (a). That emoji will float up along the side of the meeting window for other attendees to see.
  * Click the three-dot **More emojis** icon (b) to show more emoji options. If you choose a different emoji frequently, it will appear in the list for future meetings.
  * Click **Be right back** (c) to indicate you're stepping away. A BRB sign will appear on your video tile in the meeting. When you return, click **I'm back** and the BRB sign will be removed.0

* Click **Raise hand** to indicate that you want to speak. A hand emoji will appear on your video tile in the meeting, and the meeting host will get a notification bubble on the **Participants** tab. When you're done speaking, click **Lower hand**.

### How reactions appear to meeting attendees

Your emoji reactions labeled with your name will float up along the side of the meeting window (A). Your video tile will display a hand when you raise your hand (B), or a BRB sign when you step away (C).

--------------------------------------------------

To use reactions during a video meeting in the mobile app:

* Tap **React** in the bottom toolbar.
* Choose your reaction:
  * Select one of the default emojis (a).
  * Tap the three-dot **More emojis** icon (b) to show more emoji options. If you choose a different emoji frequently, it will appear in the list for future meetings.
