Using Video attendee controls

## Desktop & web
Using Video attendee controls on the desktop and web app
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Attendees in a Video meeting can access the following controls via the bottom bar during a meeting:
* **Meeting information** :The letter 'i' icon at the bottom left corner allows you to view or copy the meeting details.
*
**Network connection** :The signal icon shows the network connection details, including packet loss and jitter for sharing, video, and audio for upstream and downstream media streams. You will also see latency, which is measured for both upstream and downstream, so it is the same value for both. Clicking **Diagnose issues** redirects to the [ Network Test](https://rcv.testrtc.com/ "") service that provides the capability to diagnose network conditions.
* **Mute/Unmute**: Mute or unmute your microphone.
* **Start/Stop video**: Turn your camera on or off.
* **Share** : Share your screen or whiteboard.
* *Share screen:* Share your current screen or window.
* *Whiteboard:*Enable the whiteboard.
* **Invite**: Invite others to the meeting by phone, email, invite link, or invite details.
* **Participants**: View the other meeting participants.
* **Chat**: Send public or private messages to anyone in the meeting.
* **Reactions** : Raise/lower your hand or share nonverbal reactions to participate in the video meeting.
* *Raise hand:* Raise hand to get the attention of the host, moderator, or presenter.
* *Feedback* ***:*** Asks the host, moderator, or presenter to Slow down or Speed up and react Yes or No.
* *Status:*Set by participants to show if they will Be right back or are Multitasking.
*
*Feelings:*Share feelings with an emoji. Choose to send a thumbs up, applause, surprised, laughing, or sad emoji. Note: Feelings will disappear after 10 seconds.
* **More** : Click here to find the following options:
* *Virtual background*:Enable Virtual Background to display an image or video as your background during a meeting.
* *Presentation mode*: Enable presenter overlay in Presentation Mode to place your video over the screen you're sharing.
* *Enable closed captions*:Enable closed captions. Closed captions are visually displayed on the bottom of the meeting screen to provide a better, more inclusive meeting experience by presenting real-time meeting discussions.
*
*Settings* :Configure your video meeting settings.
*
*Send feedback*: Report a problem or give feedback on your meeting session.
* *Submit feature idea* : Suggest a feature idea for Video.
* *Help*: Open the support webpage.
* **Leave** : Leave the meeting.
## Mobile
Using Video attendee controls on the mobile app
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the mobile app, you'll find Video attendee controls at the top and bottom of your screen during a meeting.
Note: In Safe Driving Mode, the only accessible attendee controls are muting/unmuting your microphone, and ending/leaving the meeting. Attendee controls in Video
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* **Back button** :Tap the left-pointing arrow at the top left to minimize the meeting screen and [enable multitask mode](https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Multi-tasking-mode-during-a-RingCentral-Video-meeting-in-the-mobile-app.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US "").
* **Meeting preview window** :Once you tap the **back** button, the smaller meeting preview window will appear on top of the current screen. You can tap and drag the meeting screen at any time.
Note:
* For iOS devices, you can enable this feature by navigating to**Settings** \> **General** \> **Start PIP automatically**.
* For Android devices, when it's your first time activating the feature (by tapping the back button), you'll receive a notification to grant permission access to the app.
You have access to the following options in the minimized video window:
* **Left-pointing** **arrow**: Tap to go back to the meeting screen.
* **Double-tap**: Double-tap on the meeting preview window to go back to the main meeting screen.
* **Microphone icon**: Tap to mute/unmute.
* **Two outward-pointing arrows**: Tap to enlarge the meeting preview window.
* **Two inward-pointing arrows** : Tap to decrease the size of the meeting preview window.
 
* **Meeting details** :Tap the "circle-i" at the top of the screen to view meeting details.
* **Network connection** :Tap the signal icon at the top of the screen to view network connection details.
* **Speaker/Phone**: Switch between your device's speaker and microphone.
* **Chat**: Send a private message to one participant or a group message to everyone in the meeting.
* **Raise Hand/Lower Hand:** Tap the "raised hand" button during a meeting to get the attention of the presenter. Tap the button again to lower your hand.
* **End** : Tap to leave the meeting. Tap **Cancel** to continue meeting. Note: When breakout rooms have been created, attendees have the following controls:
* **Main meeting**: Leave meeting or cancel leaving meeting.
* **Breakout room** : Return to the main meeting, leave meeting, or cancel leaving meeting.
* **Mute/Unmute** : Mute or unmute your microphone, or **Join audio** (if audio is not connected).

**Start/** **Stop video**: Start or stop the video camera.
* **Share**: Share your mobile screen, camera view, or present files with other meeting participants.
* **Participants**: View and invite participants. You can also mute/unmute your microphone and start/stop your video camera during the meeting via the Participants window.
* **Chat** : Host and participants can [send a private chat](https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Participating-in-Breakout-Rooms-during-RingCentral-Video-meetings.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US "") with anyone in the main meeting or any breakout room.
* **More** : Tap the three-dot icon to access the following:
* *Disconnect audio* : Disconnect audio or **Join audio**if your audio is not connected.
* *Virtual background* :Tap to enable a virtual background, from which you can display built-in background images.
* *Enable closed captions*: Turn closed captions on/off. Real-time closed captions will be displayed at the bottom of the meeting screen.
* *Settings* :Tap to configure in-meeting settings.
* *Send feedback* :Tap to report a problem or give feedback.
* *Submit feature idea*: Tap to suggest feature ideas.
