Logging in and out of phones set up for hot desking

When common area phones or Limited Extension devices are set up for hot desking, you can log in with your extension and PIN to make and receive calls, then log out of the phone when you're done.

Logging in to a hot desking phone
---------------------------------

You can log in to a phone set up for hot desking using these methods:

* Press the **Login** soft key on the phone.
* Dial \*90 on the phone keypad.

You'll then be prompted to enter your extension number and PIN.

When you successfully log into a phone, the phone will reboot to register with your extension settings. If the phone doesn't automatically reboot, you can reboot the phone manually.

Logging out of a hot desking phone
----------------------------------

You can log out of a phone set up for hot desking using these methods:

* Press the **Logout** soft key on the phone.
* Dial \*91 on the keypad.
* Ask your admin to log you out remotely in the Admin Portal.

When you successfully log out of the phone, the phone will reboot and remove your extension settings.
