The Rooms and Devices Analytics allows IT admins to proactively monitor the global health of the company's <var class="keyword">

RingCentral
</div></var> Rooms (i.e., RC Rooms) and deskphone infrastructure. IT admins can use this report to identify issues impacting users regarding service availability of Rooms and deskphones.

Rooms \& Devices Analytics availability

Reports on <var class="keyword">

</div></var> Rooms are available to all customers. Reports on devices are available to all <var class="keyword">
<div style="display: inline;">
RingCentral
</div></var> Ultra customers. It is a powerful tool for IT admins responsible for managing and maintaining optimal infrastructure and ensuring that the employees in their company can use the communication tools with minimum interruption.

By default, all super admins will have access to these analytics, and any admins can be granted access to <var class="keyword">
<div style="display: inline;">
RingCentral
</div></var>'s Admin Portal.

Once permission is granted, admins can access Rooms and Devices by:

Rooms \& Devices dashboard sections
-----------------------------------

### Overview

The Overview section displays a dashboard covering rooms and devices. It provides IT admins visibility into the current state of <var class="keyword">
<div style="display: inline;">
RingCentral
</div></var> Rooms and deskphones globally. It allows the IT admins to navigate the problem areas quickly with just one click.

This page refreshes every 15 minutes and provides a report based on the current User's time zone according to its settings on the <var class="keyword">
<div style="display: inline;">
RingCentral
</div></var> Online account.

This section is divided into three views.

**Snapshot**

* Provides a summary of room and device status aggregated and broken down by geo locations
* Click online or offline numbers and quickly navigate to the details/problem areas

**Map view**

* Provides a consolidated view of all locations.
* Hover over the numbers to view high-level details - number of total rooms/devices and offline rooms/devices. Click the offline numbers to navigate these offline rooms' details quickly.
* Drill down or zoom into (by clicking the numbers) a particular area or location to identify issues that might be specific to that location.

</div></var> uses the industry-leading IP intelligence services by MaxMind® to associate customers' IP addresses with geo addresses. VPN IP addresses can't be associated with the geo addresses and display only as IP addresses identified by the internal network or system admins.

* Lets you view all locations with problematic rooms and devices with granular details for each location
* Click offline numbers and quickly navigate to the details/problem areas

### Rooms

The Rooms section lets you filter data by name, location, date range, room health, room status, ISP, Host's app version, and Controller's app version. This section is divided into two parts: health trend and Rooms list.

Health trend provides an overview of rooms of different health conditions over time to understand trends and patterns (sudden spikes).

The Rooms list tabulates the rooms under the account, sorted by health, with critical rooms on the top. By default, the status of the previous hour is shown, and the user can select another timeframe. The list provides the health and status of rooms.

**Room Health**

* **Good** - Indicates no problem
* **Critical** - Either the host or controller is offline
* **Warning** - The outdated app versions on the host and/or controller

**Room Status**

* Online
* Offline (either host or controller is offline)
* In meeting

### Devices

The Devices page provides a list of offline devices with detailed information now and within a historic (last seven days) period to allow users to view the offline devices over time. It provides download functionality on the top right corner of the page. The download file is in CSV format. It contains detailed information for problematic devices, as shown in the devices table.

The following filters are available:

* Device
* Date range
* Locations
* Status

The Devices table shows all devices that are/were offline within the scope of the chosen location(s) and period selected in the offline devices trend graph. The table columns include the following:

* Device name and serial number
* User Current status
* Total offline time
* Last offline
* IPS/ASN

### Unprovisioned devices

Devices not provisioned can be found by clicking the unprovisioned devices tab. These devices were recorded in the <var class="keyword">
<div style="display: inline;">
RingCentral
</div></var> system but have never been set up, tied to any extension, or are in a pending replacement state.

The table has three sortable columns to identify the devices:

* Device name and ID number
* Shipping address, when available
* Device model

The unprovisioned devices page can be downloaded in a CSV format. It collects the information for devices that aren't currently provisioned.
