Sending a bulk text message in the RingCentral app

You can use the RingCentral app for desktop, web, and mobile to send the same message in bulk, including to international numbers. Separate from a group message, sending a text message in bulk means sending the same message to multiple people as individual texts.

Bulk text messaging in the desktop and web app

  1. Click the
    New actions
     (+) button at top right, then select
    Send new text
    .

    Select Send new text

    Alternatively, you can go to
    Inbox
     in the left navigation and select the
    Send new text
     icon.

    Go to Inbox and select the Send new text icon

    Note: If you’re using the web version of the RingCentral app, you’ll click the
    New actions
     (+) icon, then select
    Send new text
    .

    click the New actions (+) icon, then select Send new text

  2. If you have several caller IDs, click the
    Text from
     field to choose the correct number from the dropdown.

  3. Enter up to 10 names or phone numbers in the
    To
     field.
  4. Uncheck the
    Create group text
     box.
  5. Enter your message in the resulting text field. If necessary, you can attach files and insert emojis using the
    Attach files
     and
    Emoji
     buttons.

  6. Click
    Send
    .

The bulk message sent will appear in your inbox as individual texts to each recipient you entered.
