Activating your RingCentral account | RingCentral app

Who can use this feature?
Admins only. This is only for small and medium business (SMB) customers. Not sure which customer you are? Click here to learn more.

Once Small and Medium Business (SMB) customers are onboarded, they will need to activate their RingCentral account. Admins will receive an activation email after purchasing an MVP license or activating a free trial. End users will also receive an activation email after an admin has assigned a license to them.

Activating your account

1. Activate your account within 48 hours after receiving the email. Click the activation link in the email to be redirected to the welcome page. 
2. Click Let’s get started.
3. Secure your account. Fill in the necessary fields following the specific criteria:
  • Set your password.

  • Create your voicemail PIN.

Note: This field may not appear if your admin only assigned you a free license.
  • Select a security question.

4. Click Activate my account when finished.

5. Click Use web browser instead to proceed setting up your account.
