Hiding your non-extension numbers in the
RingCentral online account | RingCentral app
If your admin has enabled Company Directory Control, you can choose to show or hide your direct numbers, contact phone, and mobile phone in your profile by logging in to your RingCentral online account.
Once a number is unpublished, the hidden number will not be shown in your user profile and cannot be searched in the RingCentral app. However, other users can still call your hidden number by directly dialing the exact phone number via the dial pad.
Unpublishing non-extension numbers
1. Log in to your RingCentral online account.
2. Navigate to Settings > Phone & Numbers > Numbers.
3. Click Unpublish at the far right on the non-extension number/s you want to hide.
4. Alternatively, you can unpublish contact and mobile phones via User Details > General.
5. Untick the checkbox for Publish in Company Directory below the number/s you want to hide.
Publishing hidden non-extension numbers
- Log in to your RingCentral online account.
- Navigate to Settings > Phone & Numbers > Numbers.
- Click Publish at far right on the non-extension number/s you want to hide.
- Alternatively, you can publish contact and mobile phones via User Details > General.
- Tick the checkbox for Publish in Company Directory below the number/s you want to hide.
