This article provides information on the RingCentral Video Weatherperson feature, including its functions and benefits.
RingCentral Video Weatherperson is a presentation mode that will make your presentations more interactive and memorable. This feature seamlessly integrates video and screen sharing on the same view, so that the meeting attendees can watch the presentation and the speaker at the same time.
RingCentral Video Weatherperson allows you to display your video while you share your screen and uses your presentation as your background instead of whatever is actually behind you. You can use this feature via your web browser or the RingCentral desktop or mobile app.
Turning on the RingCentral Video Weatherperson feature
To turn on the RingCentral Video Weatherperson feature, follow these steps:
1. While in a meeting, click the More button at the bottom right.
2. Select Weatherperson. This will open the Settings modal window.
3. Toggle on the button for Turn on the Weatherperson presentation mode when sharing. Once turned on, you can also select an option for I have a green or blue screen. The options are Off, Green, and Blue.
