Using existing RingCentral Meetings Webinar licenses with RingCentral Webinar

Admins can make the migration experience from RingCentral Meetings to RingCentral Video seamlessly using:
  • Global Dual Mode: Gives admins control to users’ access to both RingCentral Meetings and RingCentral Video.
  • Enhanced migration tools for RingCentral agents: Extends the existing Video Service migration tool to support the transition.

Using Global Dual Mode

  1. Go to Admin Portal and sign in.
  2. Click Meetings from the top menu. 
  3. Select Video Service.

  1. Allow access to RingCentral Video or Meetings as needed for each user:
    1. Turn on the Allow to Switch toggle at the far right to allow users to freely switch between both products.
    2. Check the box next to each user or check the box next to Name in the table header to bulk select each user. Click one of the settings above the table: Switch to RingCentral Video, Switch to RingCentral Meetings, Allow to Switch, or Disallow to Switch

Switching to RingCentral Video

If given permission by your admins, users can switch between RingCentral Meetings and RingCentral Video in the RingCentral desktop and web app.
  1. Click on Video in the left navigation bar.
  2. Under General, click on the Select button.
  3. Choose between RingCentral Video or RingCentral meetings.
Note: To access RingCentral Webinar, you will need to have your video provider set to RingCentral Video.
