Editing your profile in the RingCentral mobile app

When you first sign up for the RingCentral app, you are prompted to configure your user profile, like providing your name and job title. However, you may find that you need to make changes to any of your user information after your initial setup, including your profile picture.

Editing your user profile

If you’d like to edit your profile picture, you can use the RingCentral mobile app to do this. However, if you wish to edit your first name, last name, title, location, or webpage, you must log in to or open the desktop app to make those changes. 

Choosing a profile picture for mobile

To change or set your profile picture, follow these steps:
1. Tap the menu icon at the top left.
2. Tap the Edit text on your profile picture.
3. In the Update profile picture modal window, select either Take new profile picture or Select profile picture.
4. Tap the check mark in the upper right corner of the app to set your profile picture.

When choosing what actions to perform under the Update profile picture modal window, you’ll find the following options:
  • View profile picture: This option will open your profile picture.
  • Take new profile picture: This option will open your mobile device’s camera to take a picture.
  • Select profile picture: This option will allow you to choose your profile picture from your mobile device’s photo library.
