This article provides information on how you can use the Weatherperson feature during a RingCentral Video meeting.
RingCentral Video Weatherperson allows you to display your video while you share your screen and uses your presentation as your background instead of whatever is actually behind you. You can use this feature via your web browser or the RingCentral desktop or mobile app.
Using Weatherperson in a RingCentral Video meeting
To use the weatherperson feature during a RingCentral Video meeting, follow these steps:
1. While in a meeting, click the More button at the bottom right.
2. Select Weatherperson. This will open the Settings modal window.
3. Toggle on the button for Turn on the Weatherperson presentation mode when sharing. Once turned on, you can also select an option for I have a green or blue screen. The options are Off, Green, and Blue.
4. Configure the position of your video by dragging the blue rectangle on the preview screen.
5. Close the Settings modal window.
6. Click the Share button at the bottom and select a screen to share.
7. Click Share. Your video will be displayed while you’re sharing your screen.
Please note that your camera needs to be turned on for the other meeting participants to see your video on the screen.
