Setting reminders for RingCentral Video meetings on
RingCentral mobile app | RingCentral app

When setting up reminders for your meetings using an iOS or Android device, you need to make sure that your Google or Outlook calendar is synced on the RingCentral mobile app so your scheduled meetings appear under the Video menu. If you have both Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar app installed on your device, you can schedule a meeting and set up reminders with both. 
 
Note: When setting up a meeting reminder for the first time, you may be prompted to choose which app to use. For example, if you choose to open the meeting details via Google calendar, you will be redirected to this app where you can set up a meeting reminder.

Setting reminders for RingCentral Video meetings created via Google Calendar

  1. 1. Tap Video via the bottom menu bar.
  2. 2. Tap the scheduled meeting or tap the three-dot icon at far right of the scheduled meeting you want to set a reminder for.
  3. 3. Tap Event details.
  4. 4. Tap the blue right-pointing arrow in a box at the left of the meeting name to open meeting details via Google Calendar.
  5. 5. If prompted, select whether you want to open the meeting details via Outlook or Google calendar. You can tap and enable Don’t ask me again to set this as your default app when opening the meeting details. 
  6. 6. Tap the edit pencil icon on top right to add or modify notification preference.
  7. 7. Tap Save on top right.

  1. 1. Tap Video via the bottom menu bar.
  2. 2. Tap the three-dot icon at far right of the scheduled meeting you want to set a reminder for.
  3. 3. Tap View meeting details, and then tap Event details.
  4. 4. Tap Show more, and then select alert preference
  5. 5. Tap the left-pointing arrow on top left to go back to meeting details.
