</div></var> allows you to [send a fax](https://support.ringcentral.com/s/article/How-to-send-faxes-using-FaxOut "") online and attach several file types without a fax machine or dedicated line.

The time it takes for a fax to be transmitted depends on the quality and content of the fax being sent. For documents that contain mainly text, it takes approximately one minute per page for the document to be delivered. When sending faxes with images attached (scanned pages of documents or photos), or the receiving line is slow, it may take 5 minutes per page or more to be delivered.

To prevent issues when sending your documents as fax attachments, make sure:

* The file types are supported.
* The file name doesn't include ampersands (\&) or other special characters (for example, @, $, #).
* The attachment is less than 200 pages.
* The combined size of all attachments doesn't exceed 50 MB.
