Engage Voice
Logging in to the Engage Voice Salesforce app

When an admin has successfully installed and set up the Engage Voice for Salesforce app, go to the Salesforce App Launcher and launch the RingCentral Engage Voice app. When the page loads, you will find the RingCentral widget with the phone icon on the bottom left corner of the screen. Clicking on the RingCentral phone icon will launch a window in the corner of your screen where you can log in and start taking and making calls. The window can also be minimized or popped out and relocated anywhere on your screen.

Logging in to the Engage Voice app

Logging in to the Engage Voice app is similar to logging in to your agent account on the web browser. However, some options may not be available to you. For example, when choosing your Login type, you will only have the option to choose External phone from the dropdown menu.
 
Depending on your agent permissions, some options may not be available to you. 
1. Open the Engage Voice app by selecting the phone icon at the bottom left-hand corner of your window.
2. Click Sign In.
3. If this is your first time logging in, you will be prompted to log in to your RingCentral Office account on a separate window. See Log In to Your RingCentral Account for instructions.
4. If your credential is available for multiple accounts, you will be prompted to select which account to log in to. Select the account you want to log in to.

5. Select your Inbound queues.
6. Select your Skill profile (optional). Note that this option will appear when your admin has configured and enabled your skill profile in the Engage Voice platform. To learn more about this, see Creating an agent skill profile.
7. Select your Voice connection. You can select from the following options:
  • Integrated softphone: Allows you to make or take calls right within the widget. If using this option for the first time, you will be prompted to allow microphone access. Click Accept on the pop-up window to allow.
  • RingCentral Office phone: Allows you to use the RingCentral Office phone as your Voice connection. Sign in into your RingCentral Phone app to be able to make or take calls.
  • Use external phone: Allows you to use an external phone as your Voice connection. If you select this option, enter your phone number in the Your phone number field.
7. Click the Continue button.
NOTE:  You can click on the Switch account to log in to a different account if at any point you want to change accounts before clicking Continue. You can switch accounts without having to sign out.
