Managing Historical Dashboards in RingCX Analytics
==================================================

In Historical Dashboards, you can [create](https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Creating-a-dashboard-in-Historical-dashboards-in-RingCX-Analytics.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingCX&language=en_US ""), [view](#view ""), and edit dashboards that contain reports and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) widgets. Reports and KPIs on your dashboard allow you to view metrics to visualize how your contact center is performing. You can then [clone](#cloning ""), [export](#export ""), [share](#sharing ""), and [favorite](#favorites "") dashboards as needed.

Viewing Historical Dashboards
-----------------------------

To open a Historical Dashboard in RingCX:

* Sign in to [<var class="keyword">
  <div style="display: inline;">
  RingCX
  </div></var>](https://ringcx.ringcentral.com/ "").
* Click the **Analytics** tile.
* In the left navigation bar, click the **Historical dashboards** icon.

* Click one of the following folders:
  * **Standard** : Default dashboards created by the system. When you open a dashboard, you'll see the **Last Load Time** with the date, time, and timezone when the data was last loaded.
  * **Shared**: Dashboards shared with you or your team.
  * **Private**: Dashboards you created.
  * **Favorites**: Dashboards you've marked as favorites. Favorite dashboards may come from the Standard, Shared, or Private folders.

* Locate the historical dashboard you want to open. You can use the search bar to find a specific dashboard.
* Click the historical dashboard you want to open. To [create a new dashboard](https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Creating-a-dashboard-in-Historical-dashboards-in-RingCX-Analytics.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingCX&language=en_US ""), click **New dashboard** . Clicking a dashboard opens the dashboard in viewer mode. From there, you have the following options:
  * [Clone the dashboard](#cloning "")
  * [Export the dashboard as a PDF](#export "")

* Click **Edit** to edit the current dashboard.

  Note  
  Dashboards in the **Standard** folder must first be [cloned](#cloning "") before you can edit them.

To quickly switch to another dashboard in the same folder, use the dashboard dropdown at the top.

Cloning an existing historical dashboard
----------------------------------------

To clone a standard historical dashboard:

* Sign in to [<var class="keyword">
  <div style="display: inline;">
  RingCX
  </div></var>](https://ringcx.ringcentral.com/ "").
* Click the **Analytics** tile.
* In the left navigation bar, click the **Historical dashboards** icon.
* Click **Standard**.
* Click the dashboard you want to open.
* Click **Clone** .

* Rename the cloned dashboard.
* Click **Save**.

You can clone a dashboard in any folder by opening the folder, hovering over the dashboard, clicking the three-dot **More** icon, then clicking **Clone**.

Exporting a historical dashboard as a PDF
-----------------------------------------

Note  
PDF export doesn't work for full data export, especially for tables with lots of data. The PDF will only include data on the screen at the time of export.

* Sign in to [<var class="keyword">
  <div style="display: inline;">
  RingCX
  </div></var>](https://ringcx.ringcentral.com/ "").
* Click the **Analytics** tile.
* In the left navigation bar, click the **Historical dashboards** icon.

* Click the folder, then click the dashboard you want to export.
* Click the three-dot **More** icon in the upper right corner, then click **Export to PDF** .

* Once the export is complete, you'll be prompted to save the PDF to your computer. Click **Save**.

Sharing historical dashboards
-----------------------------

Shared dashboards will appear in the **Shared** folder and are available to everyone in your organization. Users with sufficient permissions can edit, delete, and remove the dashboard from the Shared folder.

Note  
Once shared, the dashboard will no longer be available in the Private folder.

To share a private dashboard:

* Sign in to [<var class="keyword">
  <div style="display: inline;">
  RingCX
  </div></var>](https://ringcx.ringcentral.com/ "").
* Click the **Analytics** tile.
* In the left navigation bar, click the **Historical dashboards** icon.

* Click **Private**.
* Click the three-dot **More** icon next to the dashboard you want to share, then click **Share** .

* Update the **Name** and **Description**.
* Select one of the following:
  * **Select shared group**: Select the shared group from the dropdown.
  * **Create new shared group** : Type a **New group name** for the shared group.

* Click **Share**.

### Sharing a historical dashboard by copying the URL

To share a historical dashboard by copying the URL:

* Click the folder, then click the dashboard you want to share.
* Click **Copy dashboard URL** in the upper right corner.

* Share the URL with a team or admins who have the necessary access.

### Moving a shared historical dashboard to another group

To move a shared dashboard to another group:

* Click the **Shared** folder.
* Click the three-dot **More** icon to the right of the dashboard you want to move, then click **Move** .

* Select one of the following:
  * **Select shared group**: Select the shared group from the dropdown.
  * **Create new shared group** : Type a **New group name** for the shared group.

* Click **Move**.

### Unsharing a historical dashboard

To stop sharing a historical dashboard that you previously shared:

* Click the **Shared** folder.
* Click the three-dot **More** icon to the right of the dashboard you want to stop sharing, then click **Unshare** .

* Click **Remove from Shared** to confirm.

Adding a historical dashboard to your favorites
-----------------------------------------------

Dashboards marked as favorites will appear in the **Favorites** folder.

* Sign in to [<var class="keyword">

  </div></var>](https://ringcx.ringcentral.com/ "").
* Click the **Analytics** tile.
* In the left navigation bar, click the **Historical dashboards** icon.

* Click the folder.
* Hover over the dashboard in the list, then click the **Star** icon to the far right of the dashboard you want to add to your favorites.

Note  
Dashboards you don't own but mark as a favorite will disappear if the owner deletes the dashboard.

To remove the dashboard from your favorites:

* Click the **Favorites** folder.
* Click the **Star** icon to the far right of the dashboard to remove it from favorites.

Updating the filters panel
--------------------------

You can reorder or remove filters from the filters panel at the top of a historical dashboard.

To update the filters panel:

* Sign in to [<var class="keyword">
  <div style="display: inline;">
  RingCX
  </div></var>](https://ringcx.ringcentral.com/ "").
* Click the **Analytics** tile.
* In the left navigation bar, click the **Historical dashboards** icon.

* Click the folder (for example, Private), then click the historical dashboard you want to update.
* At the top of the dashboard, click **Edit** .
  * To change the order of filters, click and drag a particular filter to the desired location.
  * To remove a filter, click the filter, then click the **Delete** (trash) icon at the bottom.

* Click **Save** at the top of the dashboard.
