Joining a new team in the RingCentral app desktop and
web | RingCentral app

There may be times where you would like to join an existing team created in your company’s account. If you’d like to join a team, you will only be able to join a public team. If you’d like to join a private team, you will need to be invited by an existing member.
 
You can find all public teams via the Public teams page in the Contacts menu, or you can search for a specific team via the search bar at the top of the app.

Joining a team

1. Navigate to the Contacts menu via the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Select the Public teams tab under the Teams section.

3. Click into the Filter contacts search bar at far right and being typing the name of the team you’d like to join 
OR
Scroll through the list of public teams.
4. Once you’ve found the team you’d like to join, hover your mouse over that team and click the Join button.
5. Click the Join button to confirm joining the team.
Once you’ve clicked Join, the app will take you to that team’s conversation. Here, you can view the full conversation history, and a message will appear in the message thread notifying the team that you have joined. 
 
You can also find that team at any time via your conversation list under Message, or by searching it via the search bar at the top of the app.
