Viewing a file in the RingCentral mobile app

When a file has been attached to a message and sent, that file will appear in the conversation’s message thread. By default, these attached files will appear as thumbnails. However, you will be able to preview images within the app. 
 
Note: Attachments such as zip files cannot be viewed in the RingCentral mobile app.

Viewing documents

Attached documents will appear as thumbnails in your message thread. Viewing a document will give you access to the entire file without leaving the RingCentral mobile app.
1. Navigate to Message via the bottom menu bar.
2. Select a conversation from the conversation list.
3. Tap the file thumbnail.

Viewing media files

Attached photos can be viewed within the message thread as thumbnails, however, you will need to tap on videos or audio files to view them.
1. Navigate to Message via the bottom menu bar.
2. Select a conversation from the conversation list.
3. Tap the video or audio thumbnail and wait for it to load. 
To exit viewing a file, tap the back icon on the upper right.
