Group Call Pickup using your HUD in the RingCentral
app desktop and web | RingCentral app 

Group Call Pickup allows a designated group of coworkers to pick up each others’ incoming calls. Before using this feature, you need to ask your admin to create a pickup group in the admin portal.

Using Group Call Pickup via the HUD

Ensure that your HUD is enabled. To learn more, visit Enabling the HUD in the RingCentral app desktop and web.
1. Navigate to Phone via the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Click Group call pick up under HUD.
3. Click Answer to pick up calls from your Group Call Pickup groups.

Note: You will see the incoming call and the intended recipient details under the Group Call Pickup group name. If the Ring when extensions I am monitoring receive incoming calls option is enabled, you will receive call notifications when somebody you are monitoring gets a call.

Enabling selective ringing

Selective ringing can be accessed via the popped-out HUD view to turn on ringing for some Group Call pickup groups.
1. Navigate to Phone via the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Click Group call pick up under HUD.
3. Click the Pop out button.

4. Click Selective Ringing.

5. Toggle on/off the Group Call pickup groups you want to receive call notifications from.
