Editing your profile in the RingCentral app desktop and
web | RingCentral app

Every RingCentral app user has a profile that can be edited by the user and viewed by others at any time. 
 
When you edit your profile, your updated profile information is synchronized across the RingCentral desktop and mobile apps and your online account. If you are an SMB customer, you will be asked to review and complete your user profile after activating your user account. After activating your account, you can still edit your profile in the RingCentral app. Not sure which customer you are? Click here to learn more.

Editing your user profile during user account setup

  1. 1. Click Review or Edit on the Complete your profile card.
  2. 2. Click Profile details.
3. Edit your First and Last name and Email address as needed.

4. Click Save.

1. Select your profile picture at the top right.
2. Click the View profile text under your name to open your profile.

3. Select the Edit pencil icon at the top right of the window.

4. Make any necessary changes to your profile.
5. Click Save.

User profile settings

You can make changes to the following fields:
  • First name: Your first name
  • Last name: Your last name
  • Title: Your job title
  • Department: The department you belong to in your company
  • Location: Your work location
  • Webpage: Provide the URL of your webpage in this field

Choosing a profile picture

To change or set your profile picture, follow these steps:
1. Select your profile picture at the top right.
2. Click the View profile text under your name to open your profile.
3. Select the Edit pencil icon at the top right of the window.
4. Click the pencil icon on your profile picture.

5. Choose and attach your picture.
6. Click Done
7. Select Save.
