Error message: User RMVD

Issue

User RMVD error message appears on the desk phone screen even when the desk phone has a dial tone. The user also gets a voice message saying, “We are sorry but you must restart your phone before you can use it. Please unplug your phone from power, plug it back in again and wait at least 30 seconds before placing a call."

Affected environment

  • Desk phones

Resolution

Ensure the following:
  1. The desk phone is assigned to a user.
  2. The user has an active account.
  3. The network port that the device is plugged into is active.
