Changing language settings in your online account

You can change language settings in your RingCentral online account so the text in your RingCentral apps is in your preferred language. You can select from 18 languages for a localized app experience, to receive notifications or send a fax cover page in your local language.

Supported languages

The RingCentral apps for mobile, desktop, and web support the following languages:
  • Chinese (Simplified)
  • Chinese (Traditional—Hong Kong)
  • Chinese (Traditional—Taiwan)
  • Dutch
  • English (UK, US, and AU)
  • Finnish
  • French
  • French Canadian
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Portuguese
  • Portuguese (Brazilian)
  • Spanish
  • Spanish (Latin America)
The language in your RingCentral online account and the language in your RingCentral apps for mobile, desktop, and web must be the same.
  1. Go to the Admin Portal and sign in
  2. Go to Settings > User Details > Settings & Permissions.
    • If you’re an admin, select My Extension from the Admin Portal dropdown. 
    • If you’re not an admin, move on to step 3.
  3. Under Regional Settings, click Edit.

  1. Click the User Language dropdown, then select your preferred language.

  1. Click Save.
Note: The Greetings Language and Regional Format will automatically change to the language you've selected.
