RingCentral Contact Center system requirements
==============================================

RingCentral Contact Center requires that your computer hardware and software meet certain minimum requirements.

Note: This article does not apply to Engage customers.

RingCentral Contact Center hardware requirements
------------------------------------------------

* Intel i3 processor or higher at 3 GHz or better. If using Personal Connection at a dialing ratio higher than 3:1, a faster CPU and additional RAM are recommended.
* 2 GB of usable RAM, not total system memory.

RingCentral Contact Center software requirements
------------------------------------------------

### Operating systems

* Windows
  * Windows 10 (32- or 64-bit)
  * Windows 8.1, (32- or 64-bit---desktop mode only)

* Mac
  * Latest and most recent previous version
* Linux/Unix
  * For customers using other server operating systems such as Linux or Unix, we recommend the following based on the three most common Linux operating systems:
    * Red Hat Enterprise Linux: RHEL 6.5 or later
    * CentOS: Version 6.5 or later
    * SUSE Linux Enterprise: Version 12 or later

  * There are many other variations for these non-Windows operating systems. As a general guideline, make sure that your operating system supports newer, stronger encryption protocols and TLS 1.2.

RingCentral Contact Center browser requirements
-----------------------------------------------

In general, all RingCentral Contact Center applications support current versions of all major browsers, as well as the version immediately preceding the current version. For example, if the current version of Chrome is 75, RingCentral Contact Center would support versions 74 and 75.

Note:

* Not all [applications](https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Contact-Center-Agent-Overview-RingCentral.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingCentral_Contact_Center&language=en_US "") support all browsers, so check your specific RingCentral Contact Center application details.
* All browsers are subject to updates that may impact their functionalities.

RingCentral Contact Center applications that support Microsoft Edge only support the version of Edge based on Chromium. Legacy Edge is not supported, but Chromium Edge does have a Legacy Edge mode that can be used.
