System requirements for the RingCentral app

The RingCentral app is available for three platforms: desktop, web, and mobile (Android and iOS). You can switch between devices to take or make calls, check voicemails, and connect and collaborate with teams.

System requirements for the RingCentral app on your desktop 

  • Windows 8.1 (64-bit) or later
  • macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or later
  • Intel Skylake-class 6th Gen i3, i5, or i7 processor or later
  • AMD Excavator-class (2015) processor or later
  • At least 8 GB of RAM
  • Minimum bandwidth requirements for:
    • Meetings with two participants: 1 Mbps download and upload
    • Meetings with more than two participants: 1.5 Mbps download and upload
    • Meetings with more than two participants that include the Virtual background feature: 2 Mbps download and upload
    • Audio-only meetings (camera turned off): 512 Kbps download and upload

RingCentral desktop app

  • Windows 8.1 (64-bit), or higher
  • Mac OS 10.13 (High Sierra), or higher
  • Intel Skylake-class 6th Gen i3, i5, i7 processor, or newer
  • AMD Excavator-class (2015) processor, or newer 
  • 8GB of RAM, or more
  • Bandwidth requirements:
    • For 1-on-1 video meetings: 1mbps download and upload, or better
    • For 1-to-many meetings: 1.5mbps download and upload, or better
    • For 1-to-many meetings using the virtual background feature: 2mbps download and upload, or better
    • For audio-only meetings (camera stream turned off): 512kbps download and upload, or better

RingCentral web app

You can use the RingCentral app directly from your browser. The app supports the broswers listed below. Note that unsupported browsers will be unable to access your RingCentral account.
