Adding an extension to your HUD in the RingCentral
app desktop and web | RingCentral app 

You can add user extensions to the HUD list directly from the RingCentral app. Users in your Presence list in your RingCentral online account are already added by default. To learn more, visit How to Configure a User's Presence Settings | RingCentral.

Note: You need to have the HUD feature enabled. To learn more, visit Enabling the HUD in the RingCentral app desktop and web.

Adding user extensions

1. Navigate to Phone via the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Click the Add extensions button on the upper right. Note: If there are no extensions added yet, the Add extensions button is at the bottom right.
3. Search for the name or extension number of the co-worker you want to add.
Note: The HUD feature can support up to 100 extensions. It can be adjusted lower or higher by request. Contact support to learn more.
