The purpose of this article is to provide information on how to invite others to your RingCentral Video meetings while you are in a meeting.
Inviting others to join a current meetingan instant meeting
To invite others to join your instant meeting, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Video via the left-hand navigation bar
2. Select Start
3. Choose how you’d like to join the meeting audio. For more information, visit Joining RingCentral Video audio on desktop and web
4. Click Invite via the bottom menu bar
5. Select from one the following options:
a. Copy meeting link
b. Copy meeting invite
c. Invite by phone
d. Invite by email
Meeting invite options
When you’re inviting a user to your current RingCentral Video meeting, you’ll have the following invitation options:
- Copy meeting link: You can copy the meeting URL and send it to other people via other modes of messaging
- Copy meeting invite: You can copy the meeting invitation and send it to other people via other modes of messaging
- Invite by phone: Enter a phone number, and then click Call. The attendee will then join the meeting as an audio call not a video call
- Invite by email: This opens up the default email app on your computer with the meeting details in the message field. Enter email address/es in the To field, and then click the send button
