What's New
Invite participants via phone
Rooms users can now invite participants to their video meetings via phone call.
The invite page will show the connection status of the invitee.
Once the invitee picks up the call, he/she will show up as dial-in user on the host TV.
If the phone number of invitee matches a company contact, the avatar will reflect name of company contact on the controller.
Switch camera in a meeting
If a Room is connected to multiple cameras, users in room can switch to other available cameras during a meeting.
Pan, tilt, zoom in & out the camera during a meeting
If a Rooms camera supports PTZ, users in room can now pan, tilt, and zoom in & out the camera during a meeting.
Rooms in waiting room
Room will honor the waiting room setting of the meeting.
If Room joins the meeting before host, it will automatically become a moderator, and hence not wait in Waiting Room.
If room is the moderator of a meeting, then Rooms user can admit or deny the participants from the controller.
Rooms user can also admit all waiting participants, and move a participant back to the waiting room
Private meeting support
Room will mask private information of meetings.
Meeting name and host name will be masked for meetings marked private when scheduled.

What's New
Incoming video call handling
Rooms will receive an incoming video call when a user video calls the room. Rooms user can accept or reject incoming video call while Rooms is being invited.
IT admin can set the Room to
automatically accept video calls (if Room is not in meeting)
DND (during meeting).
Passcode protect admin settings
IT admin can now passcode protect certain settings so they are not accidentally changed by Rooms user
Exit/sign out from host
Change audio and video settings from controller
Logout the entire room from controller
Once IT admin unlocks the settings by entering the passcode, subsequent operations don’t require passcode entry. The admin settings are auto-locked after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Detection of incompatible/outdated Rooms apps
To keep Rooms running properly and try with new features, Rooms will detect and prompt for Rooms software update if:
Rooms and controller are in incompatible versions
Rooms OS is below minimum supported OS version
Rooms app is below minimum supported app version
