Changing or resetting a RingCentral account PIN

A PIN is used to access messages using your phone and to authenticate your account. You can change your own account PIN and if you are an Admin, you can change PINs for others in your organization.

  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal. If you’re signed in as an admin, select My Extension.  
Change PIN
  1. Go to Settings in the top menu bar.
  2. Go to User Details > Security
  3. Click Change Password.

  1. Click Yes when prompted.

  1. If you’re not using Single sign-on:
    1. Enter your current password, then click Next.
    2. Click the Change PIN tab.
  2. Enter your new PIN. Re-enter the PIN to confirm.

  1. Click Save.
Note: You’ll be logged out of your account once you save.
  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal.
  2. Go to Users > Users with Extensions.

  1. Select the name of a user whose PIN you want to change.
  2. Go to User Details > Security
  3. Click Change Password.

  1. If you’re not using Single sign-on:
    1. Enter your password, then click Next.
    2. Click the Change PIN tab. 
  2. Enter the new PIN. Re-enter the PIN to confirm. 
Re-enter PIN
  1. Click Save.
