Installing the Controller App for iPad

With RingCentral Rooms, you can set up an iPad or Android controller and connect it to your host device. First, however, you must install the RingCentral Rooms software on your controller. 
 
To run RingCentral Rooms, your device must meet the following requirements:
  • iPad: iOS 12 and above
  • Android: Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0" and 10.5") with Android 7.0 and above
It is also recommended that you connect both the host and controller equipment into the same network for optimal performance. See RingCentral Rooms system requirements for more information.

Downloading and installing RingCentral Rooms on an iPad controller

  1. On the iPad, open the App store and search for RingCentral Rooms or open the browser and go to this page.
  2. Tap Install.
  3. Tap Open.
  4. Enter the pairing code displayed on the monitor.

Downloading and installing RingCentral Rooms on an Android controller

A standalone app for RingCentral Rooms on an Android controller is available only for tablet devices. 
  1. To install on your Android tablet device, open Google Play and search for RingCentral Rooms or open the web browser and go to this page
  2. Tap Install.
  3. Tap Open.
  4. Enter the pairing code displayed on the monitor.
