Setting a passcode for RingCentral Rooms to
lock admin settings

Administrators can require a passcode to operate certain administrator settings on a Room's host and controller applications.

Setting a passcode

  1. Log in to the RingCentral online account as an administrator.
  2. Click Meetings > Rooms.
  3. Select a Room that will have the passcode.
  4. Enter the passcode and click Save.

The Room's host and controller application does not require a passcode for next operations if one is provided correctly. Passcode protection will be back on by leaving the controller untouched for 5 minutes.
