NOTE: You can only record meetings with RingCentral Meetings for Desktop.
Record a Meeting with RingCentral Meetings for Desktop
Log in to RingCentral Meetings for desktop.
Click
Start with video
or
Start without video
.
Click the
Record
button to start recording.
During the meeting, you have the option to pause or stop the recording. The options can be seen at the upper left hand side of the screen and on the in-meeting menu bar.
Set the path where to save a recorded RingCentral Meeting
For Windows
Recordings for RingCentral Meetings in Windows is stored in
C:\Users\username\Documents\RingCentralMeetings
by default.
In your Meetings for Desktop, click
Settings
.
Click
Recording > Change File Location
.
NOTE:
If you tick the box for
Choose a location for recorded files when meeting ends
, RingCentral Meetings will always prompt you to specify a location at the end of every meeting.
Specify the location and then click
OK
.
For Mac
Recordings for RingCentral Meetings in Mac is stored in
/Users/username/Documents/RingCentralMeetings
by default.
In your Meetings for Desktop, click
Settings
.
Click
Record
and click the location beside
Store my recordings at:
NOTE:
If you tick the box for
Choose a location for recorded files when meeting ends
, RingCentral Meetings will always prompt you to specify a location at the end of every meeting.
Click
Choose a new location...
and browse the folder where you want to store the recorded meetings. Click
Choose
to save your selected location.
Retrieve a Recorded RingCentral Meeting
A recorded RingCentral meeting is converted to .mp4 as soon as the meeting is ended. Follow these steps to retrieve a recorded RingCentral meeting.
In your Meetings for Desktop, click
Meetings
.
Click
Recorded
and select the recording that you want to retrieve.
From here, you can also select options for your recorded meeting:
Play
- Click to watch the recorded video of the meeting.
Play Audio
- Click to listen to the recorded audio of the meeting.
Open
- Click to open the location of the recorded meeting.
Delete
- Click to delete the recorded meeting.
