Resetting Yealink deskphones to factory default

Performing a factory reset on a third-party Yealink deskphone returns its settings to the factory defaults, and deletes all stored information. Possible scenarios for a factory reset include:

* Other troubleshooting steps haven't resolved an issue.
* You need to transfer the phone's service to another provider.

</div></var> doesn't recommend performing a factory reset on devices purchased directly from us. Doing so will delete the phone's pre-configured provisioning settings.

Resetting Yealink deskphones using the phone interface
------------------------------------------------------

* Press and hold the **OK** button for 5-10 seconds.
* You'll see a confirmation message. Press **OK**.
* Depending on the model of your phone, you may be prompted to enter a username and password. The default values are:
  * Username: admin
  * Password: admin

Resetting Yealink deskphones T33G / T42S / T46S / T48S / T43U / T46U / T48U/ T53 / T53W / T54W / T40P / T58W / VP59

* Long-press the **OK** button for 5 seconds.

  For T57W models only: Long-press the **Redial** button for 5 seconds.

* Enter your administrator password. The default values are:
  * Username: admin
  * Password: admin

* Press the **Yes** softkey to trigger the factory reset.

Resetting Yealink deskphones that are paired with a cordless base station
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Press **OK \> Status \> System status** to obtain the IP address of the cordless base station.
* Enter the IP address into the address bar of your web browser, then press **Enter**.
* Log in to the cordless phone's web interface. The default values are:
  * Username: admin
  * Password: admin

* Navigate to **Phone \> Upgrade \> Reset to Factory**.
* Click **Reset Now**.

Resetting Yealink deskphones using a web browser
------------------------------------------------

* To obtain the phone's IP address, press the **OK** button on the phone or press **Menu \> Status**.
* Enter the IP address into the address bar of your web browser, then press **Enter**.
* Log in to the desktop phone's web interface. The default values are:
  * Username: admin
  * Password: admin

* Navigate to **Settings \> Upgrade \> Reset to Factory Settings**.
* Click the **Reset Now** or **Reset to Factory Settings** button.
