RingCentral Phone Desktop - How to Trigger an EZLynx Window Matching the Incoming Call Number

Configure the RingCentral Phone for desktop to trigger an EZLynx window matching the incoming call number

Any phone system that can open a URL with a custom search phrase can integrate with a customer's EZLynx account. Follow the steps below to learn how.

 

1.  Launch the User-added image  
RingCentral Phone
desktop application and log in.

2.  Click the
Settings
icon.

3.  Go to
Calls
>
Incoming
> enable the toggle switch for
Launch an external app or a URL on incoming call
.

4.  In the
Execute command
field, enter this URL: 
https://app.ezlynx.com/applicantportal/Search/Index?searchPhrase=%P

5.  Click
Test 
to see if the browser will open the EZLynx website.

NOTE:
The default number used in this test search is
(650) 555-4092
. During regular inbound calls, the phone number is captured by the
%P
line argument in the URL.
