When you start or
RingCentral Video Breakout room
, you can:
Assign or auto assign participants to a specific breakout room.
Move participants from the main meeting to separate breakout rooms.
Rename breakout rooms.
Leave the breakout room.
Delete breakout rooms.
Close and open breakout rooms.
Creating Breakout Rooms
1. While in a meeting, click
at the bottom menu bar. This will open the

plus (+) icon at the top left.
3. You will see the breakout room you’ve created under the
column with a default room name.
Note: You can create a maximum of 50 breakout rooms.
Renaming Breakout Rooms
1. Hover over the breakout room you want to rename.
2. Click on the
button, and type in the desired name.
3. Press enter (Windows) or return (Mac) on your keyboard.
Assigning attendees to Breakout rooms
1. Hover over the right of the participant name you want to assign to a breakout room.

Reassigning attendees to Breakout rooms
1. Click the breakout room where the participant is assigned.

3. Select the breakout room you want to move the participant to.
Deleting Breakout Rooms
To delete a breakout room, hover over the breakout room you want to delete, and then click on the
trash can icon.
Closing and opening Breakout rooms
Close all rooms
at bottom right.

You can open the breakout room any time after closing it, and the participants will go back to their assigned breakout rooms. To open a breakout room, click
