The purpose of this article is to provide steps in switching the video service on the RingCentral app for desktop and web.
As discussed in the Configure RingCentral Meetings video settings on RingCentral app desktop and web, you can configure what video service you’d like to use to host a meeting and configure options for your selected video service. You can select RingCentral Video or RingCentral Meetings as your video service.
Please note that you will have a different set of options depending on which video service you’re using. Some users may only have access to RingCentral Video Service and will therefore be unable to switch their video service.
Switching the video service in the RingCentral app
To switch the video service in the RingCentral app, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Settings via the left-hand navigation bar
2. Click the Video tab in the left pane
3. From the dropdown menu at far right of Video service, select RingCentral Video or RingCentral Meetings
