Intro to Advanced meeting insights in RingCentral Video

This article introduces RingCentral Video’s Advanced meeting insights feature and shows users how to access it.
RingCentral Video’s Advanced meeting insights feature automatically generates video “highlight reels” and searchable text summaries of your RingCentral Video meetings. Advanced meeting insights uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to generate keyword-based clips, transcripts, summaries, and topic lists.
Advanced meeting insights is available in the RingCentral apps for desktop, web, and mobile.
Advanced meeting insights features
- Meeting summaries: Auto-generated recaps of your meeting. You can edit summaries for clarity.
- Video highlights: Brief, auto-generated “highlight reels” of your meeting’s most important moments.
- Video topics: Clickable, editable keywords that let you skip directly to relevant video clips.
- Transcripts: Searchable, downloadable text transcripts of your meeting’s conversation. When you play a video recording, color-coded text syncs to your meeting’s audio, so you can follow video and text simultaneously. You can also click anywhere in the transcript to play the video from that point.
- Meeting keywords: Clickable keywords that you can use to search and navigate transcripts.
Accessing Advanced meeting insights
All RingCentral users have access to Advanced meeting insights.
From the RingCentral desktop and web app:
- In the left navigation bar, go to Video > All recordings.
- The right panel will display a list of your meetings, each with a keyword list. You can click any meeting to open a new window with the meeting’s video, summary, keywords, and participant list.
- At the top right of the All recordings window, you can enter search terms in Filter Recordings to locate a specific meeting recording.
From the RingCentral mobile app:
- Tap Video in the bottom menu.
- Tap the three-dot More icon at the top right, then tap Recordings & summaries.
- Select any recording to view the meeting’s video, summary, keywords, and participant list.
- You can also enter search terms in the Search field to locate a specific meeting recording.
