Managing webinar recordings

If you’ve recorded your webinar, the recordings will be available shortly after your webinar ends. The recording will need to process before you can download it or share the link with others. 

As a host, you can access and share webinar recordings as you wish by going to Webinar > Past in the left navigation bar of the RingCentral app. Click on the name of the webinar whose recording you want to access. (Only webinars with “Yes” in the Recorded column have associated recordings.)

On the Recording card, you can enable sharing, play, download an MP4 or M4A file, and delete the recording.

Viewing the recording status

To view the status of your webinar recording, go to Webinar > Past and select the webinar you want to view. On the Recording card, you may see a webinar recording labeled with the status deleted, not recorded, or failed. You may also see grayed-out sharing links and management buttons associated with certain recordings. Contact your admin to adjust your webinar recording settings if you encounter any of these issues.

Downloading your webinar recording

  1. Click the more icon at the upper right of the Recording card. 
  2. On the dropdown, click Download.
  3. Select the file you want to download. You can download an MP4 (video and audio) or M4A file (audio only).

Sharing webinar recordings

When your recording is ready, you can share it via several methods. Make sure that the Share recording toggle is enabled in the Recording card. To stop sharing your webinar recording, disable the Share recording toggle.

Sharing via URL

  1. In the Recording card, click the more icon at the upper right.
  2. On the dropdown, click the Copy link.
  3. Paste the recording link into any email or messaging platform.

Sharing via email

You can share your webinar recording via Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, or another email provider by copying the email details. In the Recording card, click the email provider you want to use to share the webinar recording. This will open a new window where you can enter the recipients of the recording.

If you selected other email providers, you can copy the email details provided in the popup window and paste them into your selected email provider.

Deleting a webinar recording

You can delete a webinar recording by clicking the more icon on the Recording card and selecting Delete on the dropdown.
