Why can’t I manage the webinar in the mobile app after being promoted as a cohost?

Issue

When you simultaneously join a webinar on both the desktop and mobile apps as a panelist and are promoted to cohost, the participant panel shows your role as cohost on both the desktop and mobile app. However, you should have different roles on different devices: cohost on desktop and panelist on the mobile app.
 
Additionally, you cannot manage the webinar from the mobile app as a cohost.

Affected environments

RingCentral Webinar.

Cause

Currently, RingCentral Webinar only supports the attendee and panelist roles on the RingCentral mobile app and does not support the host or cohost role. 

Resolution

Join the webinar using the RingCentral desktop app after you are promoted as cohost. Learn more
