The phone features in the RingCentral app allow users to use the app for calls, voicemails, and text messages. If you’re a company account administrator, you can enable this feature at any time in the RingCentral app desktop and web.
Enabling phone features
1. Navigate to Settings via the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Select the Administration tab from the left pane.
3. Toggle the Enable phone features setting on
Once you enable phone features, you should have all your company RingCentral app users
restart the app or sign out and back in for those changes to take effect, and
activate the phone feature by updating and confirming their emergency address so they can make calls.
