You can use the search bar at the top right-hand side of the
Messages
menu in the RingCentral mobile app to look for any of the following:
Conversation (chat and text)
Contacts
Settings related to:
Message
Video
Phone notifications
Connected accounts
Themes
Data and storage
Using the search bar in the Messages menu
Navigate to
Message
via the bottom menu bar.
Tap the
Search
icon at the top.
Select a tab you want to search in, then enter a keyword.
For example, if you’d like to configure an @mentions notification, you’ll be redirected to the
Notifications
settings when you tap the search result.
Messages
: Search direct, group, and team messages.
Contacts
: Search coworkers and guests.
Settings
: Search for specific settings you’d like to configure.
