Searching for a user, conversation, or setting in the RingCentral mobile app

You can use the search bar at the top right-hand side of the Messages menu in the RingCentral mobile app to look for any of the following:
  • Conversation (chat and text)
  • Contacts
  • Settings related to: 
    • Message
    • Video
    • Phone notifications
    • Connected accounts
    • Themes
    • Data and storage

Using the search bar in the Messages menu

  1. Navigate to Message via the bottom menu bar.
  2. Tap the Search icon at the top.
  3. Select a tab you want to search in, then enter a keyword.

For example, if you’d like to configure an @mentions notification, you’ll be redirected to the Notifications settings when you tap the search result.

  • Messages: Search direct, group, and team messages.
  • Contacts: Search coworkers and guests.
  • Settings: Search for specific settings you’d like to configure.
