Guide to devices reaching end of life

Use this guide to identify devices on your account that will no longer work with RingCentral, and what to do if any of yours has reached end of service (EOS) or life (EOL).

Note: We use EOS and EOL interchangeably.

Replacement recommendations​

Below is a table of certified phones and ATAs to help you identify the security expiration date and best replacement devices for your specific needs. Click each model for more information.​

Rebates and special offers

Mitel

Mitel offers a $30 rebate on the 6920W model. Customers should claim rebates directly from Mitel. 

  • The offer expires June 30th, 2024.
  • The offer is valid for RingCentral US customers only.
  • Customers may submit claim and proof of purchase documents for their rebate beginning April 5, 2024 at www.mitelrebate.com.
  • The rebate submission is valid April 5 through September 30, 2024.
  • Customers must submit a photo of at least one Cisco SPA phone label showing the serial number. 

Poly

Yealink

Yealink offers a 10% discount off the list price for all models.

Can I use a phone that isn’t on the replacement recommendation list?

The device can be registered as a BYOD phone by following the instructions for SIP manual provisioning.  ​

What happens to my device after the security certificate expires?​

Phones registered before the security certificate expiration will keep their connection, but if the phone is reset or unplugged, it will not reconnect. If the connection is lost, you’ll need to re-configure the phone as a BYOD device by following the instructions for SIP manual provisioning.
