Getting a white screen when launching the RingCentral app

This article explains how to troubleshoot when you get a white screen when launching the RingCentral app.

Issue

When launching the RingCentral desktop app, it opens a blank white screen. 

Resolution

This is caused by cache, or stored data, that has been corrupted. 
 
To clear your cache:
  1. Open the RingCentral desktop app.
  2. Press the key combination Ctrl + Shift + D (Command + Shift + D on MacOS) to reveal the Development menu.
  3. Go to Development  > Toggle DevTools.
Go to ToggleDevtools
  1. At the top of the DevTools window, click >> for additional options. Then, select Application.
Select Application
  1. From the menu on the left select Storage > Clear site data.
Click Clear site data
  1. Restart the RingCentral app.
