RingCentral Rooms recommended setups

Admins can select one of two hardware setups, depending on their capacity needs. To see the minimum system requirements for RingCentral Rooms, read RingCentral rooms system requirements
  • Room appliance kit (recommended): An all-in-one video bar with built-in computer, camera, microphone, speaker, and a separate controller.
  • Room kit (individual):
    • Separate computer, controller, controller console (if needed), and network and power connectors.
    • Separate camera, microphone, and speaker or all-in-one video bar with built-in camera, microphone, and speaker.
Note: We recommend using the audio input and output hardware from the same kit to prevent audio issues. Learn more about configuring your RingCentral Rooms audio settings
 
The size of your meeting space determines the recommended kits and devices.

Note: TC8 controllers paired with Poly X30, X50, X70, and G7500 hosts will be updated automatically when the host is updated. Host updates can be set to automatic in the host admin UI, applied manually from the TC8 controller, or applied from the Admin Portal
