Setting a meeting to private in RingCentral Rooms

Last updated on November 24, 2021
If a meeting is intended to be private, admins can hide the meeting name and host from the display and on the controller. This helps keep the meeting info private if the conference room is also used by other people.

Setting a meeting to private

  1. Go to Settings > General on your controller device.
  2. Toggle Display as Private Meeting to hide the meeting subject title. Instead, it will display the room and host's name. The display change will take effect on both TV and controller.
  3. Toggle Hide host name for private meetings to hide the host name.
