System requirements | RingCentral Meetings Rooms

You need to have a RingEX subscription with RingCentral Meetings and RingCentral Meetings Rooms License to set up RingCentral Meetings Rooms. RingCentral Meetings Rooms works with off-the-shelf hardware. Please make sure all hardware is fully connected and working before installing the RingCentral Meetings Rooms app.
 
RingCentral does NOT cover support on any hardware that is used for RingCentral Meetings Rooms configuration. Please contact the manufacturers for direct hardware support.

1. Minimum setup requirements

1.1 Computer

  • MAC OSX (10.10 or higher) / Windows 7 or higher (Windows 10 is recommended
  • RingCentral Meetings Rooms application (download here)

1.2 Conference room hardware

  • TV or computer monitor
  • Camera (USB connecter
  • Microphone
  • Speaker or speaker system
  • Appropriate internet connection / network coverage
  • Appropriate wiring for connected devices. Wiring for audio should be less than 100 feet as audio signals typically cannot travel beyond this distance
Ensure that the camera, microphone, and speakers device drivers are updated and installed. Each hardware should be set as the default device for the computer to use.

1.3 Meetings room controller

  • iPad or Android as the controller
  • iOS 9 or higher (11+ recommended) / Android 7 (Nougat) or higher
  • 7.5" screen size or larger
  • RingCentral Meetings Rooms Controller app downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
