  • App Integrations: Connect to services like Jira and GitHub to deliver notification messages directly in any team.
  • Workspace: Access all your tasks and events in a single place.
  • Emergency response location: Allows users to select an emergency response location pre-defined by account admin.
  • Preview uploaded videos: See previews of uploaded videos in conversation stream.
  • Calendar presence setting: Enable the calendar to update the presence status when an event is happening.
  • Schedule a RingCentral Video meeting from a conversation: Easily choose participants and schedule a meeting from a group or team.
RingCentral mobile app
  • Guest indicator: Conversations with guests outside your company now have a visual indicator.
  • File sharing options: Easily share files and photos from other apps via message, text, and fax.
  • Mark selected posts as unread: Pick up from where you left off by marking any message and those below it as unread.

  • Authenticated access: Hosts can restrict meeting access to authenticated participants.
  • Redesigned meeting toolbar: Easier to discover meeting controls.
  • Enhanced chat and video privileges: Hosts can control who can turn on video in their meetings.
Other RingCentral Meeting updates:
  • From the RingCentral app:
    • Embedded Meetings: RingCentral meeting URLs will now launch directly in the RingCentral app, no other application required.
  • Web client updates:
    • Attendees can now join the meeting with computer audio and video.
    • Support for screen sharing, in-meeting chat, viewing and typing closed captions, nonverbal feedback, and Q&A for webinar attendees.
    • Attendees can join a webinar without registration.
  • Enhanced Virtual Background performance
  • Support for multiple whiteboard pages.
  • Download poll reports after the meeting: Reports include User Name, User Email, Submitted Date/Time.
  • Pre-meeting video lobby: Attendees will now be shown their camera video preview and given the options to join with or without sharing their video.
  • Audio Setting for Auto-Select based on Network: The setting automatically chooses the best audio option depending on the customer’s current phone connection.
RingCentral Meetings
  • Security Enhancements: Securing our customers communications and data while protecting privacy is one of our top priorities. Please find security best practice recommendations for RingCentral Meetings here.
  • New account-level settings for IT admins: Admins now have more power to administer settings across the account, such as:
    • Turn OFF "Join before Host" for all users
    • Make passwords mandatory for meetings (instant or scheduled).
    • Limit screen sharing to hosts only.
    • Note: These features are initially respected on the user interface of RingCentral Meetings standalone applications, even though the backend always respects them. RingCentral apps and integrations such as the Outlook add-on will get these UI updates soon.
  • Client encyrption:
    • RingCentral Meetings will now always user AES-256 encryption. Previously, this was a setting to be controlled by IT admins.
    • Admins will no longer have the ability to turn off encryption for RingCentral Meetings clients.
    • Admins will still be able to control encryption for 3rd party H.323 / SIP endpoints.

  • Call to Video: Seamlessly start from a 1:1 or multi-party phone call and switch a to RingCentral Video meeting or screenshare with a single tap.
  • Cloud Contacts: Stay connected to all of your contacts by syncing your RingCentral, Microsoft, and Google accounts.
Hardware models updates
  • Cisco CP6821 phone: This model is now available for purchase for RingCentral Office and Global Office customers.
  • Poly Firmware: The VVX model phones will receive upgraded 6.2.0.4023 firmware on July 15. This provides bug fixes, security updates, and enhancements. Release notes will be posted as the date approaches.
  • Spectralink DECT phone support: Spectralink now offers an integration guide for their multi-cell DECT devices providing instructions on how to configure those phones.

  • Schedule a RingCentral Video meeting as recurring and edit meeting settings.
RingCentral for Salesforce: Version 6.7.0, now available
  • High Velocity Sales (Beta): We now support High Velocity Sales (HVS) in RingCentral for Salesforce.
  • Cloud Phone Reporting (Beta): Leverage RingCentral Analytics data and view it as a native Salesforce report.
  • RingCentral Video: Seamlessly schedule a RingCentral Video meeting from Salesforce.
Admin
Trust Portal: For super admins or any admin with account administration permissions.
  • The new site provides easy access to RingCentral's security and compliance documents, to assist our customers with their own compliance or regulatory assessments. Learn how to access the trust portal.
Adoption and Usage Analytics
  • Admins can now access usage and adoption data for the last six months and select a custom date range.
  • KPI nomenclature under the "Message" tab has been updated to align with the RingCentral app.
